Protonix – The best cure for stomach problems

What is Protonix?
Pantoprazole belongs to a group of drugs known as inhibitors of the proton pump. Sold under the brand name Protonix. Protonix is used to treat ulcers, stomach and esophagus problems. This medication works by blocking acid production in the stomach. Available in pill form, it also helps when a person has difficulty swallowing. It also provides relief from sunburn.
How to use Protonix:
Follow your doctor’s prescription dose thoroughly. Also ask about any necessary restrictions on food, beverages, or activities during the course. Be careful when buying Protonix and always check the expiration date.
Protonix can be eaten with or without food. Be careful that the tablet is not crushed, chewed or broken. Swallow the tablet whole with water. If oral granules, we recommend taking 30 minutes before a meal. It is advised that oral granules should be taken by mixing with apple juice or applesauce to swallow easily. Do not take this medicine with any other liquid or semi-liquid food. Take a teaspoon of applesauce and sprinkle the required dose in it. Swallowed immediately without chewing. Similarly, in the case of apple juice, empty the granules into a cup containing one teaspoon of apple juice, stir for few seconds and consumes instantly. Pour apple juice in a little cup and drink it so that the remaining granules are also consumed. Wash the cup, or use one for your next dose.
Ask your doctor about specific instructions and guidelines if the granules are being given to the patient through a stomach tube.
Protonix should be taken under the direction and by the time prescribed by your doctor. There are some typical symptoms experienced while taking this medicine. Tell your doctor if symptoms are not set in on time or worse.
Protonix side effects:
Some side effects may occur when you start taking Protonix.
The following side effects are seen in most people, which are less serious
• Nausea / vomiting
• The discharge of gas
• Stomach pain
• Diarrhea
• Joint pain
• Dizziness
• Headache
However, you should immediately get medical attention if you notice the following allergic reactions:
• Urticaria
• Swelling of the face, lips or tongue
• irregular heartbeat
• Difficulty breathing

• Shaky muscle movements
Protonix Drug Interactions with:
The following drugs should not be taken during the course of taking Protonix.
• Omnipen / Prince
• Nizoral
• Plavix
• blood thinners such as warfarin
• Lanoxin
Besides these, it is equally important to tell your doctor if you are receiving no treatment and is taking medication for it, or are taking any vitamins or herbal supplements. In addition, Protonix should not be taken with Reyataz or Viracept. Tell your doctor if you are taking any of these.
Missing doses of Protonix: If you forget a dose, take the missed dose if there is insufficient time for the next dose, otherwise skip the previous dose.
However, in the case of overdose, the patient should be taken to the nearest medical center to avoid complications / severe health risks.
Protonix Storage Protonix should be stored at room temperature and kept away from light and moisture. You should also stay away from children.
